Advanced Training, Technology and Treatments
Dr. Kini’s expertise/training and experience are in SBRT (stereotactic body radiotherapy), SRS (stereotactic radiosurgery), IMRT (intensity-modulated radiation therapy), IGRT (image-guided radiation therapy) and HDR (high dose rate) brachytherapy. Technologies include a Varian TrueBeam® linear accelerator with RapidArc® technology and image guidance using cone beam computed tomography and an Elekta Clarity® system. We also perform SBRT using the CyberKnife® system at Newport Diagnostic Center. Cancers we treat most commonly include:
